Stockman O’Connor is pleased to announce that Michael G. Rigg and Robert D. Silva are joining the firm as partners effective January 1.  Mike and Rob have largely devoted their careers to the defense of healthcare institutions and medical professionals and are well respected members of Connecticut malpractice defense bar.  Mike’s practice involves professional and general liability defense work on behalf of providers across the state and federal courts.  Mike represents hospitals in credentialing and professional review actions of physician privileges.  He also has a burgeoning appellate practice, having briefed and argued cases before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts.  Rob handles professional and general liability work on behalf of individuals and institutions, defending hospitals and practitioners alike at all stages of litigation.  He has a well-earned reputation as a tenacious trial lawyer.  Both were partners at O’Brien Tanski & Young for many years.  Mike will be resident in the SOC office in Bridgeport, Rob in the SOC office in Newtown.
