Kristin Connors Joins the Firm as a Named Partner

 We hope that this announcement finds you all safe and healthy.

 We are so very pleased to announce that Kristin Connors has joined the firm as a named partner.  The firm will now be called STOCKMAN O’CONNOR CONNORS, or as we have and will still refer to it – SOC. 

 Kristin is a highly regarded trial attorney.  She has successfully defended high exposure medical malpractice claims at trial on behalf of physicians and care providers, acute care hospitals, long-term rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies.  She will continue that practice at SOC, along with her representation of physicians, other providers and facilities before the Department of Public Health, the Office of Health Care Access, now the Office of Health Strategy, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  She has for many years been nominated as both a Connecticut Super Lawyer and a New England Super Lawyer, and last year was selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of Medical Malpractice Law.

 We built this firm together on the tenets hard work, enthusiasm, ethics, collegiality and reason and we are so proud to have Kristin join us, as her career has been the embodiment of these traits. 

 We know this change comes at a time when so many facets of our lives are in flux.  As a firm we are weathering them together, adapting and changing with the times with a focus on the health and well-being of our employees, clients, colleagues, friends and the collective SOC family.  At times like these that we remember what is important and what matters the most.  And so we forge forward, hopeful for the future and the continued health of our firm and that of our treasured clients, colleagues and their families.  Stay well.
