Attorneys Eric Stockman and Adam Maiocco obtained a defense verdict

Attorneys Eric Stockman and Adam Maiocco obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client, a neurologist, who was alleged to have misdiagnosed the plaintiff’s neurological condition over the course of 2 ½ years resulting in a permanent and debilitating gait disorder.  Attorneys Stockman and Maiocco were able to demonstrate that although the correct diagnosis was not made, the diagnoses made by their client were reasonable based on the patient’s clinical presentation at each office visit.  Attorneys Stockman and Maiocco also presented evidence over the course of the 7-day trial that their client’s actions did not cause the plaintiff’s alleged injuries, but the Stamford jury ultimately found no breach of the standard of care and never reached the issue of causation
