Attorneys Eric Stockman and Adam Maiocco obtained a defense verdict

March 2025, after a 4-week trial, Attorneys Eric Stockman and Adam Maiocco obtained a defense verdict against a urologist and his employer, a local hospital based medical group, against a claim that they misdiagnosed a patient’s testicular torsion.  Attorneys Stockman and Maiocco proved that the patient, who was 48 at that time of the care, did not have the signs and symptoms sufficient to make such a diagnosis.  They did so using only the plaintiff’s expert as a witness, effectively cross-examining him successfully and obviating the need to call any witnesses.  Plaintiff demanded $4-5 million in closing argument.
